Updating your call list

It is essential that you let us know of all changes that may affect how your security systems operates or how emergency measures are carried out:

  • Change to your phone number at home or work
  • Change regarding the resource persons on your call list
  • Adding a new user (babysitter, housemaid, roommate, etc.)
  • New pet (which may require adding a special motion detector that takes domestic animals into account)

Renovations
Also, let us know if you are planning or conducting renovations that may affect your security system’s operation. If a telephone or cable company works on your phone lines, be sure to test your security system afterwards. To avoid disturbing your resource persons unnecessarily, phone the monitoring centre, identify yourself with your PIN, and let the operator know how long the renovation work will last.
